I consider that dance and sports offer many virtues to our character.

First of all we learn teamwork and devotion for a common aim. We also have to discipline ourselves by following and respecting certain rules. We choose to live a healthy life, by staying away from alcohol, eating "fast food'" or smoking, but having only good and healthy habits. In various sports we can expand, express ourselves, exteriorize our feelings and respond to movement with our whole being. Expressive dancing helped me learn more about loving and respecting my body. Moreover I am taught to feel each muscle and to communicate with my whole being. The expressive dancing way teaches me to discover myself to be concentrated into my body and to visualize the whole image of myself. I see with my inner eyes what I should correct and discipline.  I work on what I should improve, by harmonizing my thoughts my feelings and my body to work in collaboration for a single aim. This course rejuvenates me it makes me think in a more positive way. Besides communicating with my body, discipline and concentration, I also learn to organize my thoughts and it helps me to put order into my feelings and be clearer in the way I think and take decisions.  Of course as each sport, I have acquired a stronger and healthier body. The course of dance that I follow helps me build a better character and I even get rid slowly, slowly from my defects. It helps me realize the qualities of my character and the will to work always harder to achieve the best in myself. Thus I believe that dance as well as all sports can ameliorate and develop a stronger, healthier and integral character.

Θεωρώ ότι ο χορός και ο αθλητισμός προσφέρουν αρκετές αρετές στο χαρακτήρα μας.

Πρώτα από όλα ομαδικότητα και αφοσίωση σε ένα κοινό σκοπό. Επίσης πειθαρχούμε σε κάποιους συγκεκριμένους κανόνες του αθλήματος που ασχολούμαστε και είμαστε αναγκασμένοι να περιοριζόμαστε και να αρκούμαστε σε υγειηνές διατροφικές επιλογές δηλαδή χωρίς αλκοόλ,"γρήγορα φαγητά",τσιγάρα και άλλες ανθυγειηνές συνήθειες.Με διάφορα αθλήματα μπορούμε να εκτονονόμαστε,να εκφράζουμε τα συναισθήματα μας και να δίνουμε ολοκληρωτικά τον εαυτό μας.Ο χορός που κάνω με βοηθάει να μαθαίνω περισσότερα για το σώμα μου και να το σέβομαι.Επιπλέον διδάσκομαι να νιώθω τον κάθε μυ και να επικοινωνώ μ' αυτόν.Αυτό το άθλημα με κάνει να βρίσκομαι μόνη μου και να αφοσιώνομαι μόνο στην εικόνα μου.Βλέπω τί πρέπει να διωρθώσω,να βελτιώσω ή να προσέχω στο σώμα μου.Το επεξεργάζομαι,δουλεύω με το μυαλό μου και προσπαθώ να κάνω το μυαλό,το σώμα και τα συναισθήματα να συνεργαστούν.Το μάθημα αυτό με αναζωγονεί και σκέφτομαι πιο θετικά.Επιπρόσθετα εκτός από την επικοινωνία του σώματος,την πειθαρχία και την αυτοσυγκέντρωση μπορώ να βάζω τα πράγματα σε μία λογική σειρά και καταφέρνω να σκέφτομαι πιο καθαρά.Φυσικά όπως κάθε άθλημα δημιουργώ μία καλύτερη φυσική κατάσταση.Ο χορός που κάνω βοηθάει να χτίσω ένα καλύτερο χαρακτήρα και να μειώσω ακόμα και να κρύψω τα ελλατώματα μου.Γι' αυτό και εγώ πιστεύω ότι ο χορός και όλα τα αθλήματα μπορούν να δημιουργήσουν ένα χαρακτήρα πιο ολοκληρωμένο και ενδιαφέρον.
